I don't have _that_ much lego, a mere 138K or so pieces. (I can verify that I
have that many, I probably have 10-20K more than that total...esp. considering
the for sale stuff...)(I have 580+ pieces of straight 9V track in that too! :)
Also, you might note, the building contains a solitary photocopier right now.
I'm going to start on building mini models before leaving here, so I will have
things like that to populate my new and improved city when I get back to BC.
The building used about 10-15 buckets worth of red 1x4's, but you can get them
for about .04 on brickbay each. If you are trying to build monocromatic
buildings, Brickbay is a godsend.
I've been rebuilding the city, since I just got the track back from PNLTC.
Now' I'm waiting on some stuff to arrive that I have on order from various
people (some more red 1x2's, and arches in particular), then some more photos
will be taken. Then...well, the wrecking ball strikes at 12:01 Jan 1, since I
have to have the whole lot into boxes by mid april, including my schoolwork
between jan and april.
It's great to see Van.LN doing train shows. I think I will make some enquiries
about doing the 2001 Victoria show...although, I am already wanted by 2
different groups for it, because of having live steam and oo scale stuff as
well.
