Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship

(...) I'd say forgo the "Train parts" bits flier. That's going to be too much to handle. Also, I don't want to run our costs up too much. The train bits are clearly detailed in the catalog.. Kevin, do you have a stash of them "Mail in for a free S@H catalog" fliers they put in some sets? (Like the blue Box) I've got 4 or 5 of them I'll bring... Also any "join the lego club for free" ones would help too. Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Building fun...

Oh boy, the living room is filling up with MOCs :-) The section for the low folding table, with the water, is mostly done, I just have to complete the "ground level" in one corner and make the rest of the monorail track supports. It looks pretty (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

Got some more questions/comments... -Any particular reason why the airport & monorail station baseplates are blue (looking at v-d0017k.jpg)? -Do we have enough baseplates of the required size, shape, colour? I've got some 16x32 blue and some odd (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship

  T-Shirts?

Just a thought. I've done a few of these at home, using good quality T's, an ink jet printer, and that T-shirt iron on transfer paper you can buy. The results are quite good. It would be fairly easy to print up a few with the logo, etc. Cost would (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Info from Train SHow organisers

Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship
