Why something other than Vaseline? It's a fantastic lubricant (and I should
know!*). What are you going to replace it with, something gooey, and keep

You know as well as I do that friction doesn't build up with only two gears. -The viscosity of the Vaseline probably causes (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
