I'm OK with leaving the string height "free".... I'm sure people will figure out
exactly what works best....

I agree with removing the 2" string height limit too.  I thought it was strange
because at dinner we were talking about all the different possibilities, like
you suggested, if you could rase or lower the string.

As long as the string enters through the front 10" x 10" face and leaves through
the rear 10" x 10" face in a straight line between them, I'm happy.  Once the
round starts, you can do whatever you want with the string, or rope or whatever
we decide on.

Calum, why is the robot on the right side of the table on the wrong side of the
line.
