Hmmmm, I will make a concentrated effort to stay OFF topic in rlt

That could prove difficult, since off-topic discussion seems to be the primary
focus of this little corner of LUGNET, meaning that it's defacto on-topic
discussion.  In other words, you'd really need to stick to what would normally
constitute on-topic discussion elsewhere to be truly off-topic here.  Got that?

Contrary to popular belief, there might actually is somewhat of a guideline of
what to talk about in .rtltoronto:

a) Stuff relating to rtlToronto events, such as debate on what contest to run,
questions on rules, picture requests for events, what people are working on
(robots or trains), when the dinners are (next Friday or Friday after BF?)

b) Topics of interest, such as those spawned at dinner, including common
interests from members including computers, robotics (hobbyist and industrial),
amusement parks, stupid projects (wiring Commodore 64 to home alarm, installing
Cavalier MP3 player), how to fold shirts (another dinner topic)

c) Good deals around Toronto and the GTA for Lego.  Set reviews, opinions,
desires for new sets.

d) Stuff for sale by rtlToronto regulars, usually for delivery at event or
dinner.

e) General Canadian banter.

Of course, this is a guideline.  As always it tends to drift... :)

Calum
