Yes, B5 ships actually obey the laws of physics by accelerating and deccelerating. Unlike 'Trek. In ST the ships always act like atmospheric vehicles, namely in the manner that they don't have to deccelerate/reaccelerate to turn around. (...) Yeah, B5 fighters Starfuries have thrusters on the front and sides, allowing omni-directional movement. They used the slide factor alot for combat (Fighter trajectory going the oppsite direction of the fighter). And in reply to Jeff's comment (...) (...) Yep, the human fighters (Starfuries) require manuevering jets to change direction and speed. The only other race I know offhand how they operate are the Minbari's, which use gravity generators. The only operating system I have heard of NOT crashing is a Unix/Linux install if it's done right. Does the new MAC not crash? Fantastic idea... Do the mirrors create little spots of light, or does the light diffuse enough not to be noticed? I imagine that there would be “hot spots” from the mirrors... Here's another lighting idea you might consider. If you are in an area that gets plenty of sunlight, consider homemade reflectors. I use a two light spot/stand light with 60 watt bulbs, and I'll turn one or both on, point them near my MOC, bounce the light off the ceiling, etc, etc, just to (...)
