I don't know if this is where we are at (well, Hoppy might be there,
but...)...I really didn't post this to start a Mac/Win war...I try to avoid
them if I can...but the little geek voice in me said "Go on! Post it! It's
funny, AND you are actually poking fun at Apple...everyone will get that,
right?" Stupid little geek voice.

I'm just taking it as a joke.

BUT... given that UNIX exists, a Mac/Win war is kind of like two tribes of
ants fighting over the picnic basket scraps. Sooner or later the real power
(UNIX) is going to go home and have a real dinner, no matter whether the
MacAnts or the WinAnts win the "war".

Eh! Now that MacOS X is esentially just another Unix/Linux flavor, I think
the overall "war" is moot anyway. MS will catch-up/on sooner or later, and
join the bandwagon, too...you'll see.

I'll tell you what, though...as an end user who relies on the power,
stability and feature set of specific packages, it'll take a WHOLE lot more
true (read -corporate-...Adobe, etc.) software support before I'll be making
the switch.

One of the main reasons I stopped using Win/DOS was to AVOID a UI with a
command line interface, and complex hardware/software set-up. I don't have
time or interest in it...that's when the computer becomes another
hobby...God knows I don't need another hobby...I need the computer as a
business tool, ya' know?
