Lugnet has a problem.

     Uh...hi folks.

I took a break from lugnet for a bit around april.  I still
uh..."lurked"...I think thats what you internet folks call it.  Any way, I
took a break cause I was taking some things a bit seriously.  I'm full of
hypocrycies, I think its human nature but am currently uneducated enough to
supply proof.  So, like, I took a break from posting and just thought about
a lot of things.  Someone had e-mailed me, supporting one of my many
opinions, however, as I thought about his e-mail and the post that he
supported, it dawned on me that I had posted a serious opinion critisizing
everyone else as serious...

Anyhow, I took this break and realized I had taken a lot of things too
serious and was judging many lugnetters as too serious and decided I just
wanted to build stuff with lego and hopefully get pics up on brickshelf and
see if anyone had anything to say about my stuff.

Afterall, that's why i payed my ten bucks to lugnet, so that i could comment
on other peoples stuff and one day people could comment on mine.  Everything
else is wholly optional.  Nobody here knows me, loves me, cares about me, or
will miss me if I just up and leave.  That's just the way it is.

I've been reading some of the current debates and am surprised that some
people still try to argue considering how they are treated, but apparently
they like to debate, it's their thing, it may not be what they came to
lugnet for, but now its their thing...they chose it, they like it, its what
they do.

I still hold personal opinions.  However I am just one individual among over
six billion other individuals and I am not such a critical thinker that i
can comprehend how I could effectively critisize even a dozen individual
opinions.  The most that i can ever really do is offer my opinion, and wait
on the sidelines as other individuals offer their opinions, some eduacated,
some personal, some heated, some quaint,,,and so on.  Sometimes I may not
even get a response...

yah, like...so I took this break, had some internet service problems, got a
change of e-mail, updated my lugnet profile, recieved my updated
news-posting confirmation thing, and am once again posting to Lugnet...

...so what?

I chose to leave...

I chose to come back...

no big deal.

My personal opinion, actually based on personal experience, is that everyone
here who posts regularly should take a break once in a while.  Your personal
opinions won't change, your views and ideals won't change, but you just
might have a better idea why you are here...personal or otherwise.

...yadda, yadda, yadda...

you folks are great...and the debates sometime require some heavy,
intellectual reading and critical thinking, I appreciate having my own world
challenged, thanks.

Lugnet has a problem. No one can have their own opinion if it differs from everyone elses. If they do, they are attacked. Read the posts that were in reply to my own, stating my discontent with the re-release of the Castle set the Guarded Inn. (...)
