Hi,

Because my kids destroyed my catalogs from 1990 until 1998 downloaded i the
catalogs from 1966 until 1997 and burned them on CD.
Now i can search for some items without being on-line.
The CD is self starting (Autoplay) with some special software i downloaded
from the internet, because you can't run a .INF file opening a HTML page !
It has to be a .EXE file. With this adition is it working, it opens a
Welcome.htm(l) page witch you can easely adapt to your demands.

The zipped file is abouth 7...8Kb long.
Any interest ? let me know at my mailing address :

Has anyone thought of, attempted or suceeded in putting scanned instructions
onto a CD ROM? I would be very interested if someone has done it? also • whether
its reasonably easy and of reasonable cost. I am very interested in gathering
together a number of scanned instructions to complement the paper ones I • have.

I welcome any response so if you think you might be able to do it, I am
willing to fund/part fund help as far as I can to get this up and running. • (if
its not been done already?) - Perhaps someone can suggest a source where I
could get this done?

Regards,

Jason

I have now downloaded around 80% of Brickshelf's instruction scans and am
getting ready to burn some CDs.  Has anyone else done this yet?

I'm wondering about the best division of files between the CDs and how to
handle future additions.  Also, what sort of front end should be copied to the
hard drive?  Would the main index file be sufficient or should indexes be re-
coded in order to handle file access of both drives?

Instruct well,
