I had originally posted (about 1 month ago) that I would be willing to set up an informal Robot-Arena style competition in the LA Area for March 17th 1999. Now that the Grand Opening is over and things are settling down, I would like to take my family to Legoland in Carlsbad. However, I am worried that large crowds will ruin the Legoland experience for my 4 and 6 year old children. Can anyone tell me (...) I only took about 130 more pics the second weekend, I was too busy at work to mess with them, but I hope to thumbnail them next week. I checked Fremont (Newpark Mall) on Friday night. No sign of them. (That is, no sign where they would have been, if they had already been there and gone.) I managed to zip down to Winchester at, um, the legal speed limit, and picked up one of the last four landspeeders. And I picked up another for a friend's kid. Everything else was gone.
