Thanks to you for organising this too. Nice venue. Not a real pleasant drive
home, though (although that's probably mostly a function of the car...)

Eli and I, then James, Kevin and Andrea, then Richie, Ryan and Patrick, and
finally Robert - I had a great time.  Thanks all.

There were glorious trains (Eli), spaceships, majestic two decked sailing
ships (Richie), and some extremely elegant WWII jeep and half-and-half types
(Robert).

And then there was the BrikWars of truly biblical proportions.  I leave the
telling of how many figs battled to curator, statistician, and keeper of the
manifests (because to be frank I simply lost count).

James did too. All it took was for me to say "Whatever you do, don't make
James lose count.".

The official count was 543 combatants, plus a number of non combatants to
add colour (a Bay Watch Babe, a hooker, three hikers, et al). And a bunch of
railway unionists who arrived after the carnage was completed (and mostly
cleared away).

....Richie the notorious THMM...

The original references to 'Vlad the Implyer' as the leader of the THMM
(Tediously Hackneyed Medieval Mercenaries) my well be the result of partial
deafness:  Apparently, one nearly dead THMM said to another 'What did that
vampire just do? And who was he anyway?'. The soon-to-be corpse answered
concisely 'Fled. The employer'. The rest is history. Or perhaps history-like.

Cheers

Richie Dulin
