Hi folks,

As Jonathan said, some good deals at TRU: 4101 $30; 4403 $50; 3615 $40; 7194 $80 among others...

(I might say that TRU’s schizoid pricing and poor store layout make it less and less attractive to visit.)

Nothing too special at Target (HP combos, new Castle, cheap yetis and elephants); 4851 is a great set worth $30. Beyond the LEGO aisle though...

Magnetix is a cool system, like the expensive Euro GEOMAG which is only at DJs.

Is that the Ninja Turtle Combat Lair for $30?! MBs poaching(?) Disney from Lego has made for some interesting comparisons too.

Tonka(!!) has a $20 fire truck “compatible with other building systems”.

But most exciting of all, Playmobil (play-moe-beel as the box says) has finally reached suburban shopping centres en masse! A very solid range to start off with; two thumbs up.

redelurk complete,

Dave L.
