Not quite as cool as last year's... I need to make some cpp calculations (and
maybe read a review of HC2).

I was quite disappointed, Kmart was definitely the better sale, not just for
Lego but all up.

Incidentally, I missed the Bionicles, they're tucked away on the back page (so
that would be http://www.target.com.au/html/catalogue/2274e64.htm I think).

BTW the Kmart sale has been extended until this Wednesday.

BTW2: Myer now has Buy 2 full price Lego sets and get the second one 50% off.
For sets of equal value that would be equivalent to 25% off both.  The 20% off
discount is still going too (separately).

BTW3: I've heard that TRU is having a big sale later this week too, but I have
no idea on the details, we don't have TRU down here!

Heh, ya not wrong! I thought it was rather funny after looking at the catalog
that I scanned the bundle pack with the bonus tub thingy (which isn't even LEGO)
and it scanned at $89.95 or there abouts.. (.99 or .95)... and in the catalog
they show it for $99.99??? I mean... "hello!!!" - so maybe scanning the stuff is
a good idea... cause ya just never know!

Mel

P.S. I scanned it on Sat just to see how much it was before the sale and out of
interest.

(...) Do LEGO make their own tubs ? It's the same colour scheme as another tub from a few years back. Maybe the combo will be $10 more expensive for the sale ;^) Interesting to see that MB get a whole page and LEGO shares their page with Magnetix (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) 'Tis interesting that you bring that up... When that bundle first showed up on the shelves in Target Hobart about 10 days ago the shelf tag very clearly said $101.xx. I remember that quite clearly because I thought it was such an odd amount! (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
