Expensive way to get a mini knights bus, packaged with the HC2. All for more
blurple.

Yep. about $25 for a little Blurple bus (And I really do want it...) This is
based on targets "sale" price of $139, compared to BigW's sale price of $114
Due to my fondness for minority colours, I'll no doubt acquire some blurple
some time (I was just jumping on the Blandwagon for a couple of stops).
Bit of a pain to have to purchase a HC2 for every MKB though.

Is Target's extra profit an advertising budget surcharge ?

Went to the opening day to grab a spiderman origins during lunch. Had a look and
low and behold, HC2 is now down to $114. Looks like someone informed target that
BigW was still on sale. This is for the Melbourne City store, so I don't know
about the others, so after a 20 min wait in layby, I now have my little blurple
bus.

20 mins? that's nothing!  When I went during lunch to a local Big W store on toy
sale opening week, I almost fainted when I saw this HUGE line of trolleys... 76
to be exact! one lady who was around the 30th trolley in line said she had been
waiting for 4 hours!!! and these trolleys were over flowing and some had more
than one. I of course, thought "lay-bying in my lunch break? ya gotta be
kidding"... thankfully they didn't have too much that I was interested in so I
just bought the stuff with the money I had.  I think they would have almost
needed a store extention just to store the stuff! my gosh!!! But I wonder how
much of it will never be finalised...

And yes, I actually wanted the HC2 as well

(...) My wife any myself braved one of these opening sales last year at a local K-mart. Arriving 30 minutes before the store even opened and had to queue at the door to get in. The astute shoppers had already collected empty trolleys (some with (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
