SNIP
   Town
  • Everyday buildings on mini fig scale, e.g railway stations, businesses to fit train displays
YES-more houses, retaurants, general store, bank, office building, machine shop, & FARM theme with brick-built animals (Olde Brick-donald?). maybe a school, movie/stage theater, or a zoo (brick built animals)

  • Bridges
Hmmm...maybe some big sets of one or two 32 stud or one 48 stud baseplate bridges, like concrete or wood truss or COVERED bridges. anything very big could be mainly made of basic parts (to keep expense down) in earth colors. I’d probably make some small or medium size sets out of 16x16 plate bridges & maybe a technic-pin-connecting modular bridge system (made of basic brick plate & slope pices & some Technic bits on 16x16 plates?) composed of an end-section set and a mid-section set, in metal, wood (& covered) or concrete bridge styles. this way, 2 ends is the smallest bridge & one can add any number of mid sections & even add bridges beside eachother for more lanes

World Buildings
  • Taj Mahal
  • Sydney opera house
  • Empire state building
these would be GREAT as a continuation of the designer or mini series, like Star Wars minis (& if you get all four ‘famous architecture’ minis, you get enuf pieces for an outhouse :) ) a famous residential minifig scale series would be great: Frank LLoyd Wright, Greene & Greene, modernists, etc. & minifig scale standard house styles would be AWESOME: ranch, Victorian with turret, cape, gambrel (FARM barn), etc.

   Vehicles
  • Muscle cars, hot rods
  • Ferrari e.g F40, F50, specific historical race represented
  • Classic cars
definitely- AND pick-up trucks, FARM equipment, concept cars, vehicles from around the world (3 wheel cars/trucks, double decker bus, trolleys...

   Aircraft
  • Civil transport planes
  • Classic planes from the early days of aviation
CONCEPT AIRCRAFT yes they were developed by the military, BUT the LEGO co. just doesn’t have to put weapons on them & they can give them a colorful ‘airshow’ color scheme. the space shuttle has military uses, but there are plenty of official Space Shuttle sets. think of it; the X1 that chuck yager flew to break the sound barrier, the X29 with the cool forward swept wings:

or the Blue Angels or hot air ballons (maybe ‘small’ ones using the Lowell sphere)

   Other Structures
  • Oil rig with functions
simplified & ‘shrunk’ for minifig, or detailed for UCS style set.

  • Amusement park with functioning mechanical rides
yeah, with one or two rides (depending on size) & one or two concession booths in a set.
