Here is what S@H wants to know:
Do you like these concepts?
What do you like about them?
What do you not like about them?
What should S@H pursue and what should they throw out?
Is there anything specific that youd like to see within the undefined
categories (amusement park rides=roller coaster)?

I love the idea but I dont see how something like this would be profitable. A
bulk bucket would be far more realistic and would be far more marketable to both
the adult collector and mass retail.
I love the idea but to make models that are recognizable I.E. the golden gate,
London Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge or Gibraltar Bridge. the model would have to be
fairly sizable. If you can figure out how to make them realistic at an
affordable price I would definitely be interested. More than around $60US and I
dont think there will be a market. Under that I personally believe there would
be a huge market for it. If you decide to go in another direction I.E.
a minifig scale bridge might have a market but it would depend highly on the
style. Personally I would just make a center section to go along with the new
girder bridge mold, set# 7900 and call it a day..
Ø * Taj Mahal
Although this is a highly recognizable building I dont see a market for it. It
just doesnt interest me.
Ø * Sydney opera house
hum whats that? A white and clear plate bulk pack. Cool! Seriously though I am
a huge fan of architecture and the opera house is definitely a favorite of many
people. If done in a reasonably small size I could see myself purchasing
something like this. Btw a reasonable size would be under 48sduds by 48 studs in
my opinion.
Ø * Empire state building
The first thing that came to mine was HOW MANY CAN I BUY!!! This would really be
a win win for the Lego Company. There is a wide market for something like this.
You have your business executives who want a conversation piece, the kids who
want a really tall building and the adult collectors who will buy them as bulk
packs.

Vehicles
- Muscle cars, hot rods
- Ferrari e.g F40, F50, specific historical race represented
- Classic cars
|
these all sound cool to me, But Im not really into cars so I really dont have
an opinion on this.
|
Aircraft
- Civil transport planes
- Classic planes from the early days of aviation
|
Yes please continue the awesome series you started with the Red baron and the
Wright flyer. There are plenty of aircraft that could be modeled and I know they
will sell well since the Lego store could never keep the Wright and red baron in
stock. Models of the planes that mark major advancements in technology would be
awesome! Naturally I wouldnt mind having an early helicopter, DC-7, flying
boat, early jet aircraft or even a 747.

Other Structures
- Oil rig with functions
- Amusement park with functioning mechanical rides
|
Anything with moving part is good in my book but a Ferris wheel would probably
be at the top of my list. With the advent of the super long technic axles the
Ferris wheel is now more of a realistic option than ever before. If you really
think about it knex has been selling them for over 10 yrs now. So theres
definitely a market.
