Why do people seem to think the site wide posting would mean we get 'spammed' in
every group with the marketing stuff?  Rules can be made that that has to stay in
the L.D group.. just as BST stuff has to stay in B.S.T.. people follow the rules..
why do you think they wouldn't be able to follow the rules?  why aren't they able
to converse with us in our own 'native' areas?

I think you´re both right. TLC wouldn´t spam LUGNET if they were allowed to
post in any group. BUT: I feel the same way as Ben. LD and/or TLC do not
join the discussion or offer to have one. They mostly do some kind of
marketing annoucements. I understand that they, as a company, are not able
to discuss everything in public, neither go into details or give us numbers.
So what do they want to post ? If there had been lots of discussions going
on about different themes in the LD group, I am sure everyone would have
agreed to move these discussions into their respective groups.

I´d like to see LD/TLC posting anywhere they want. But post something worth
discussing or something that hasn´t leaked through from somewhere else
before. For example: I loved the sneak previews for the SW-sculpture sets at
FBTB.net. Why not showing us some more pctures of how they designed the sets
afterwards ? There had been some pictures showing some UCS type models that
haven´t made it (yet) as official sets. These are informations only LD/TLC
could offer and I think everyone would love to see. Just some suggestions,
no demands. I am quite happy with what LD does for us and with TLCs
products. If they would do even more what we´d like to see, I´ll have to go
out and robb a bank !

I love to read LUGNET and I hang around here nearly every day. There are
many great people here from all around the world who contribute to this
community and make it interesting and fun. I try to contribute from time to
time, but not as often as I sould.
I am very sad when someone, who´s works and posts I have enjoyed here,
leaves the community or even got sick (and rid) of the brick. Please do not
let this happen again. Where else should I get pictures of new MOCs to drool
over my keyboard ???

Just a few of my ideas and thoughts... I don't mean to hurt anyone with this.. so
don't take anything personally...

Tamy

Same with me: I hope my words don´t hurt anyone. Please excuse my bad english.

Ralph

PS: Tamy: I try to reach you from time to time via email but I get no reply.
If you still have the sets for me please let me know. If you don´t get my
emails I´ll give you my address here on LUGNET. Thanks & play well :o)
