Brad & All,

My, my... word does travel fast, it seems.

Heh heh. Must be a conspiracy! : )

But yes, it is true. In the next round of bulk items, we will bring you...
shrubbery. Well ok, bushes, if you want to be picky about it. And trees,
too; lots of trees. Cypress trees (Merry Christmas, Richard) and fruit
trees. And a little bit more.

They're very nice. And not too expensive.

Cypress trees: 5 for $4.99
Round (fruit) trees : 10 for $5.99
Bushes: 25 for $6.99

Simply awesome. I can finally expand my tree collection. My bigger creations
as of late eat them up! Great, great news! : )

Sand Red roof tiles (2x2): 100 for $7.99

Oh no! Brad, I love you guys there, but could you, if possible, release the
2x2 tiles in some of the older colors such as light gray, yellow, and blue?
I am not a big fan of sand red, but some people enjoy it. I am sure I speak
for many when we would love to see an expanded color array of the existing
bulk packs. It is more of a suggestion than anything, since I would love to
pave my Shell Station in light gray instead of black.

1x2 plates with one stud (part #3794): 80 for $4.99 (20 each in gray, dark
gray, black, and white)

Oh wow! Great!

Keep an eye out for these items in the shop at LEGO.com -- they should be
available sometime in the next couple of weeks, and will be offered in all
our LEGO Shop At Home markets (which will also include Switzerland before
the end of the month).

Excellent.

Now I must go and cut down the mightiest tree in the forest... with a
herring.

It! ; )

P.S. Apologies to non-Monty Python fans. If such creatures exist.

Yeah well, it's LUGNET, so there are a few quirky folks out here, but I rate
near in the top of that list! Great, great movie.

(...) "roof tile" is LEGOese for "medium slope". These are 2x2 medium slopes to go with the 2x4 medium slopes they brought out already. What you want are "smooth tiles" which is LEGOese for "tiles". But yes I agree I would like to see light gray, (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
