Why not apply the same policy to all the sets the company releases. ;)

This sounds good. I guess my first question (and it's asked in all
seriousness) is... "Why just these?"
Is there some rhyme or reason to releasing just this small collection of
bulk packs? Are they based on some secret sales figures? I'm just curious
why the list seems so conservative.

All well and good to announce it here, but I do hope it gets announced on
your own site as soon as possible. There's nothing to lose by posting a
'Coming Soon' message there. Remember that at least some of your customers
(who buy from LEGO Direct, and will buy these products) don't read the
newsgroups on LUGNET.
Which reminds me of your last announcement here:

I'm curious what has occured as a result of all the feedback that was posted
in reply to your posting? There were many responses to your question and it
looks as though a lot of people took time to provide you with honest,
sincere and heartfelt answers. Speaking for myself at least, I know that it
would be nice to hear some sort of follow-up message from you folks. If no
decisions have been made, or no action has occured, then why not just a
"Hey, thanks for all the input... we'll be in touch!" :)
