Fact: pretty much all of legos customer base (even that subset that uses shop @ home), includng myself and most other lugnet readers, has a limited lego budget. Was this a bunch of service packs found in a warehouse somewhere that LEGO found and wanted to sell them off fast. Because I find this extremely irrating to see that they are no longer available (at least they aren't listed in the shop@home site). (...) Is there some way or place to leave lego suggestions on who to improve their website on their site somewhere? I can't seem to dfins it anywhere. Hello All, Shop at Home has rearranged the menu tree of it's website recently. To find items quickly it's a big improvement. Well, they might make it a little bit easier to find things. Two items: Where did they put the "Castle Extender" bulk pack? I looked under "Accessories and Bricks", "Specialty" and "Themes", and also "Bricks", "Light Gray". Not that I need any light (...) (23 years ago, 19-Mar-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Thank you guys very much! I really appreciate your comment. But it is really discouraging to hear that TLC is not willing to change. My concern is that their best products aren't available in stores! As far as I remember, this exact question was asked of Brad Justus at the recent BricksWest event. His response indicated that the company was unwilling to allow retailers to "cherry pick" the Lego product line, and thus it was not possible to allow (...) I'd like to chime in here to remind people that juniorization of LEGO System sets should not be confused with the introduction of the quick-build Jack Stone sets. This is a great question. I have long thought that hobby and model shops would be a great place to stock the LEGO train line.
