Ok, so, (URL) looks pretty legit. Here's my personal first impressions. What're yours? Star Wars: Ehhh. I'd still been clinging to the hope that the X-wing was a hoax. Looks tolerable, but not fantastic -- and certainly isn't on the level of some (...) (26 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

Wow. wowwowowow. The Star Wars sets look really good, I think. The snow speeder is great. You know, those Insectiod 4x4 half-domes are starting to look a lot like Star Destroyer shield generators, don'tcha know. The speed bike set is a fantastic (...) (26 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

My thoughts on the 1999 sets: Star Wars ---...--- Actually, about what I expected. I was tying to keep my expectations down, so I am pleased by what I see. The minifigs are great. I am ecstatic about the snow speeder, which was always my favorite (...) (26 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

I'm sure that at least one could return . In the scene in which deathstar blown-up at the back ground, at least one Y-wing was accompanying to the several (2 or 3) X-wings. By the way, in the old X-wing computer game, the Y-wings were quite reliable (...) (26 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

Yeah, this mission was an X-wing mission. (and they were not freighters, they were troop transports..and it was not a star destroyer, it was a Nebulon-B frigate...and it was absolutely not impossible. Just fire twin torpedoes to each of the (...) (26 years ago, 2-Nov-98, to lugnet.starwars)
