Nope, not at all.
But if someone has already DONE the inventory, why not share it?
I'm putting up the inventories I do for sets I auction on my webpage.
I'll also post them to this new inventory newsgroup that was created
after I started a discussion about more actively sharing inventories.
Would I ask someone else to go out and do an inventory just so I could
use it in my auction? Nope. But given the fact that so many other
things in our "community" are based on sharing, I don't feel bad at
all about using inventories other people have already done for
themselves to help me save effort in my auctions.
If you have a 5571 inventory and give it to me so I can setup an
auction of the parts from 10 of them that would probably save me many
MANY hours of work. The more time I spend working on a sale or
auction the higher I think I should set my opening bids/prices. What
if you turn around and buy the wheels/tires from me at $1 each because
I didn't have to spend those hours inventorying the sets?
