  Who had the 5571 Inventory?

I am going to be splitting up some 5571s for a parts auction (YES, some tires will be sold), and could REALLY use an inventory sheet. I remember someone posting that they had it in Excel, but can't find the post via the Lugnet search. If you have (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.auction)

(...) Well, it is kind of nice that we share information here. I certainly wouldn't suggest that it was anyone's responsibility to do so - or that they were bad for not - but free exchange of this info has been the norm. On the topic of charging (...)   Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

Tom seems like a nice guy and I was just giving him a hard time, but I agree with John Neal. No, I am not suggesting that people charge for an inventory; I am simply suggesting that favors go both ways. (Not like mob favors, like friend favors). (...)   Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

Well, the original poster that HAS the inventories for 5571 and 5561 noted he'd be happy to send them to people if needed. In any case, I found the post on RTL at Dejanews, so I can now email them.   Sharing Information for Profit.

(...) Ya know, in the last 6 months I've shared a lot of information about my knowledge of LEGO, most of which is the 60's and 70's stuff that is not at all well documented. However, sometimes I'll share info about sloped bricks, windows & doors, (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Sharing Information for Profit.

Yes, I have done this before. Someone sent me the inventory for 9365, so I pulled 2 sets out of the auction as Reserved for him at opening cost, even if the rest of that set get bid much higher.   Re: Sharing Information for Profit.

Perhaps you and the other more knowledgeable guys around should see if there is a way you could share your knowledge and make something out of it.   Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?
