I'd see it as a combination of two things: Mindstorms (remember that 50%
of registration cards were from adults who'd purchased it for themselves)
and Star Wars (tapping into the 20-something-with-lots-of-disposable-income-
who-must-have-everything-Star-Wars-especially-the-Lego-sets-they-wished-for-
as-a-kid market). I don't see either of these groups as particularly
relevant to the sorts of AFOLs who hang out on Lugnet: generally speaking,
they're not going to care about juniorization, bulk parts, etc.
It's still an incredibly high number of people.
