I figured I would revive this discussion as it regards Castleworld and • The
idea of a capital, vortex commonplace, etc.

I still like the embassy idea...i'm a stubborn son of a brick = )

That *is* an awesome idea... question is... how would you pull it off. It
would be tough, unless someone with a heckload of bricks is willing to
duplicate people's buildings, to set up and actual town like that; and as • nice
as it would be to have a random organization of buildings (inns, shops • etc),
it would be equally hard to take pictures of a scene in such a town • without
having an actual, PHYSICAL town somewhere. Y'know?...

But hey, by all means - if someone has a good idea of how to integrate • that
and make it work, I'm all in for it...

I gess a couple of my points got buried in the first part of the post....I
didn't know if I would lose context by editing my comments and kyle's • ideas...

My point in brief:

I propose that each CW balladeer have an "embassy", a signature structure
just like each realm has a signature figure.  I am not talking a Gregor
Tower or Aquazone Cathedral, more like a small tavern, inn, shop, temple,
dojo, pagoda, etc.  Each structure could host a portal to an individual's
realm or serve as an ambassador's residence.  All of these structures • would
theoretically exist in the same place.  The idea is that this is some sort
of major port or trade city (a de-militarized zone) No armies could exist
here, but plenty of mystery, skullduggery and carousing.  This would allow
minions, friends, and representatives of Mephisto, Scar, Verneer, et al. • to
interact with residents of other realms and times.  These together would
form a virtual Capitol city.  This Capitol city could be the origin of
seperate side stories or collaborative efforts.

Expanding on your idea, a simple church (of some kind) could work for the
location of this portal - like in Zelda (Which I *will* pass some day!).
Heck, a portal could even go anywhere deemed 'sacred'... or 'blessed', (or
something).

If people w/ digicams could all photograph their structure against a white
backrond or some such thing, a photoshop master could probably work some
magic with backrounds.

Due to the customization of many figs or rarity of some parts, it would
hard to recreate a Mephisto but easy to recreate a lesser minion.

Let me know if this makes more sense...

Hmmm..... Maybe a representative from whichever world?
