Yes, those are mushrooms. The "flowers" on the water-type plants have an
almost Scala like look, but turned out better than expected.

I had hoped to do a tan structure like that for quite some time, but I was
sure I'd have to wait for LD to sell tan in brick packs before I could.
Fortunately my collection of tan bricks grew bigger than expected, allowing to
create the house now.
As for the interiors, I always approach them with a mini-fig centered view
and the results of that angle seem to be fairly successful.

I always seem to have the oposite problem. The various warrior groups are
always the most difficult for me to create. I think more subtle political
conflict interests me more than direct physical conflict. Most of my warriors
are aimed to protect their society more than war against one another.

I did customize a few of the characters, but used a x-acto knife.

have about at least ten free female faces around so I won't be hindered when
