yes!, thank you james. very well put. nano-fig castles! ~great idea for
long shots! my first two structures have long since been sorted back into
the collective! for the red dragon fortress, mephisto's lair, it provides a
great oportunity to rebuild/ re-design, bigger and badder than before.
(c'mon pawell ~ go ahead and put those three teaser pics up on the CW site!)
also, this affords me great subject matter for my first 4 ballads.
(realm-hungry, already!) anyway, the red dragon's introduction,
destrustction, and resurection, and the beginning of a quest will be my
first 4 ballads in my first mephiso epic, "kaleidescope'.
sets are great for storytelling, but shouldn't count as structures. that
should be a model. sets are great for describing the surrounding areas
within a realm, though.
_models_, _characers_, and _stories_.
the more fluidly one meshes the three, the better. don't just build sets
to tell stories, but use stories to show off the details of your models, and
introduce new creations. jeff should give cornelius his own realm! if
there's a ballad for each mecha he buids, 4 of these babies earn you a
realm. of course, a full model of ze goot docktor's labORatory vould <ahem>
~ would be required to claim that realm. please, build it, jeff! it would be
incredible!

| (...) Let's say I wanted a sprawling castle, but I don't have enough bricks to build it. I could build a non-minifig scaled structure, and then use sets for the inside, yes? (...) I guess my point was that a model shouldn't *have* to be a structure. (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)
