I've only gotten it to throw a few feet with the soccer ball. The mini-figs can spit farther! An area that needs serious attention is the sling pocket. The piece of plastic that I'm using now is too slippery and a soccer ball has trouble staying in (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

As I mentioned I wanted to do in my other post, I've changed to a braided sling pocket and it made a big difference, both in ease of setup and distance. It now throws about 6 feet. Time to see what sling length and end hook gives the best (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

That's definitely a "must buy" set. It's cheap enough to get multiples of and you get a bunch of minifig food and utensils - carrots, apples, hot dogs, chicken leg, plate, cup, wine bottle, milk bottle, and even a kitty. (...) Hi Richard, The weapons are made using a combination of epoxy putty and existing lego (plus other materials) parts. What I did was to cut and sand down the plastic parts to the desire shape first, then combine them with added details using (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
