John, First, lemme just say that these are some of the finest structured MOCs I've seen in a long time. The architecture and overall "feel" of each piece is just splendid. Jon, I love your sets. The small details are great and you have captured this time period well. It would be really cool to see a street full of musketeers dueling with the cardinals men. Ben, Thanks for your compliments, I think the roof Idea is great as well, the only reason that I didn't go that direction originally is because a lot of the structural integrity of the buildings is focused on the roof. I finished the next two chapters in my story. (URL) think it sets up the basic plot very well. I have some new camera software making pictures a lot easier to take so I will have a few more chapters and MOC soon!!! Of course questions and comments (...) The mill itself is outstanding, but what really brings it to life is the action--guy dumping grain into the mill stones, fisherman, cat and rat, etc. My favorite construction details are the foundation (especially the mix of (...) Jon, You're right on the limitations of available colors. Of course, if this were an official set there are other colors that could be swapped in like some of those light yellows or the orangy-brown of the HP Privet Drive set. Unfortunately those (...) You're right. heh heh. still getting used to this whole internet thing.. heh heh. The Temple is tre-cool, and the story is awesome, too. Hum, i like the idea of rotating curators. I dont have a ton of time on my hands, but i do get a few hours on the internet in the morning. i would take the curator job for one month, then somebody else the next month, then back to me again.
