Tony,
This boat is pretty cool, but I've gotta admit that I'm more interested
in the Aerites themselves.  They look pretty darn cool for a brick-made
creature - especially the ones with the feather sticking out the back.
How did you do that?

The Wild West sets had two versions of the feather piece.  One has a clip,
like the Harry Potter one.  The other has a handle-sized straight end with a
tiny pin on the end to fit into the tiny helmet holes (so a knight could
have one sticking out straight up).  The handle part fits fine into any clip
or hollow stud.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
I miss Sorjin, he was my favorite IOM character (since I wasn't involved)

Wow, thanks!  I really enjoyed doing those comics and I learned a lot.
Hopefully I'll do some more stories soon, though I'm likely to do Space
before I do another Castle story.  I actually shot one on the moonbase at
NWBrickCon, but it takes a lot of post-processing to finish and I haven't
had the time.

Here's a model I built about a year ago for my Isle of Mist story... but I
never got around to using it and now I've moved on from the whole IOM thing.
But the model is still interesting, so here I present a party of Aerites and
the small landing boat they were going to use to get from their ship to the
Isle:
