I've tried a little (without success) to get QT4 to build as a universal static library. If I get that working, I'll see if I can't work out the QT4-specific bugs. Just an update on my LDView tinkering. I got Qt 3.3.7 compiled and used it to rebuild the current LDView 3.2 code. The LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) has officially sanctioned the use of " (needs work)" in part titles to allow parts to be certified with known problems. I've found a class definition in /src/corelib/tools/q...ar.h/.cpp, but my C++ is weak so on first glance I'm not sure how to interpret its type compatibility. (...) If you set the viewing angle in LDView to 0.1, you'll get something that very closely approximates a true Ortho View. True Ortho is on the list of future features, but I just haven't gotten around to implementing it. --Travis (20 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad)

Just wanted to drop a request for an orthogonal view in an LDView future release. Unless I'm missing something, it appears all of its views are perspective, which isn't ideal for instruction creation. I like the LDView render better than LDGLite, (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad)
