Another great job.

Thanks, Bruce.

7 Kingdoms:
10:28 - I love that floor!  Was this patterned after Erik Amzallag's stained
glass window design?

Yep.  Though I was pretty close to that pattern back when I did a wall for a
throne room in the Parable of the Harsh Master:

http://bricktestament.com/the_gospels/parable_of_the_harsh_master/lk19_13.html

10:31 - I love the use of minifig legs as crennelations.  The wall is
interesting, too, with those cutout shapes.

Thanks.  I had to look up what "crenellations" are.  Apparently they're "any of
the embrasures alternating with merlons".  I'm afraid that if I look up
embrasures or merlons, they'll be defined by even more words I've never heard
of.  @8^)

Lots of great architectural details in the next few towns--the use of grill
bricks in Lachish, the collumnade and the good use of that useless HP tower
piece in Eglon (BTW, Eglonese men have breasts?!?!)

I never thought of that torso as representing breasts, but now that you point it
out... hmmm.  I guess I just thought it was a baggy shirt.  But now I either
have to change that photo or defend the idea that Eglonians had manboobs.  I
choose the latter.

the mosaic floor and interesting arch in Hebron.  I love your new innovation for running legs built
with headlight bricks that first shows up in 10:37 (or have you done this
before?)

I came up with that while working on the Eglon photos, and I first put it to use
in the photo of the Eglonites running away from the Israelites, but I ended up
using such an overhead angle that you can't even tell.  Anyhow, thanks, I'm glad
I finally fingured out a way to use that style of lower body and still be able
to show people running.  Though now, it's either they stand still or run.  I
still don't have a good walking pose for that style of legs.

22 Kingdoms:
I like the half-stud offset wall details in Hazor's palace.  I'm not sure what
the pot with a katana is supposed to be next to his desk, though.

I don't really know what that is either, except maybe a fancy sword holder.

Ooh, chariots
again.  Once again, thanks for your design on those.  I like the rotated 1x1 as
emblem.

I saw you had done a modified emblem on your chariots, so I though I'd try yet
another emblem modification.

In 11:11 I don't like the town as much as those above--too many flat
white walls I suppose.

It is a little dull, but that's just how they build in Hazor.

I do like the detail in the top middle where you've got
alternating 1x1 plates on top and bottom of a plate.  I'd love to see details of
the microfig city, btw.

Here's a focussed close-up shot of the micro-scale version of Hazor, minus the
flames and rising smoke:

One thing I would like to request.  I'd love it if you made a page with photos
of different structures that show up in your scenes.

I like the Places page on your site.  I remember that Larry P had asked for a
similar look "behind the scenes" at some of my Brick Testament stuff.  I don't
always remember to take such photos before dismantling stuff, and it's hard for
me to know what stuff people would be interested in seeing, but I have taken a
few shots over the past few months, so I've put them on Brickshelf here:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=102419 (post-mod)

Here is the other micro-scale city from the latest stories, Debir:

And here's the mini-scale city of Ai from a previous story:

compare with:

I took some other shots of the "walls come tumbling down" set from the Masscre
of Jericho story:

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/Behind-the-Scenes/jericho_walls_tumble_03.jpg

There's a shot of the vineyard from the Parable of Many Murders:

compare with:

http://bricktestament.com/the_gospels/parable_of_the_many_murders/mt21_33b.html

And finally there's a bunch of extra photos of the Abrams tank I built for the
"Prisoners of War" story from "The Law".  I'll let you wait until the folder is
modded for those.

Hope those are of some interest.

Thanks for the comments,

-Brendan

Hey Brendan, Another great job. Some thoughts: 7 Kingdoms: 10:28 - I love that floor! Was this patterned after Erik Amzallag's stained glass window design? 10:28 part 2 - Great town. I like the red and blue accents and that odd-shaped window (...) (20 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)
