The best thing to ever happen to lego...

Ok, I'm really psyched. All my life I've lamented the fact that lego canopies have sides on them, so that if you wanted to build a wide spacecraft cockpit you would have these trans walls hanging down inside (not counting the curved trans from UFO (...) It would be an accomplishment just to have created either one or the other of the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: How cold can you go?

Well I actualy handle cold really well. Even though we do see some snow ive been known to go out in the snow in shorts and a t-shirt.   Re: It's a Mech...It's a plane...It's, uh, both?

(...) The G1 Transformers like Starscream were a heavy influence on this design. The way the cockpit folds, the position of the nose, and in a small way the way the arms fold were influenced by the design of those old Transformers. Like you say, the (...)   Re: How cold can you go?

(...) ABS can handle cold temperatures reasonably well, but not all LEGO bricks are made from ABS. The transparent pieces are slightly brittle at room temp, which makes me suspect that they're made of acrylic, and acrylic does not handle cold well (...)
