The first entry (relevant to build.military) is a town-scale Main Battle Tank
I've had for some time but hadn't bothered to getting around to taking pictures
of until recently:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=44893

It's based off an earlier model, the 'm8 light tank' in my brickshelf folder,
which was once a self-propelled artillery piece but was modified into a MBT.  It
may be a little oversized for town scale and only has room for a single minifig.
The tread skirts were made possible with the minifig neck bracket w/stud.  The
front of the vehicle features a mine clearing blade system modeled after the M1
MCBS in use today (minus the middle chain-suspended heavy roller).

The second entry (relevant really only to lugnet.build) will probably not
register with anyone here, TeamFortress in brick form.  TF was a popular
Quakeworld mod some years ago, and it's still around as TeamFortress Classic for
Half-Life today:

TF was (and TFC still is) a class-based team multiplayer game, and the classes
in each team shot are (from left to right) Scout, Sniper, Soldier, Demoman,
Medic, Heavy Weapons Guy, Pyro, Spy and Engineer.  The first minifig was the
HWGuy, and the rest soon followed.  Again, I've had these around for several
months but didn't take the pictures until now.
