I sort mine by color and piece type. I'll give a little bit of a run-down, so here goes. (1) I have a box(shoebox size) for green(very few), yellow(few), tan(fewer), gray, black plates. I stack the 1xY in an offset manner, with the larger plates I (...) (25 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.build)

For me, I have evolved from colors to actually sorting bricks out by their size/shape. I have eight 60 drawer shelving units, and multiple plastic variable size tackle box type containers. Yes and no, depending on how many copies are needed. The Master Builder I talked to at Legoland CA explained that when doing a one-of-a-kind model, the MB would complete it, and then hand it off to specialists that are experts at copying - they'd (...) Regarding Building exhaustion. Recently finished off the top of my Millennium Falcon model and that took a tole on me. Was up till 4:30 am working on it and finally had to go to sleep. I asked if I could purchase the AT-AT Walker from the LEGO Roadshow.....not a chance came the reply ;-( You have to wonder though how they go about building such monsters.....I read somewhere that a prototype is built then a second is built with the (...) I know what you mean, Todd. I shelled out $89 for the Mos Espa Pod Race and had it built in about ten-fifteen minutes. The same thing used to happen with the UFO sets. Thanks Jacob for the idea. I now have a new working prototype. It uses a Lego bungee cord instead of a rubber band. It also holds five missles stacked in an angled from the firing chamber. It work something like this: 1) Pull the firing pin back 2) (...) (26 years ago, 30-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)

I've been looking at the instruction scans for the 8460 pneumatic crane truck and for the most part it looks as though it's made up of pieces I already have. Well, I haven't been to LEGOLAND California yet, but the 1x1 cylinder bricks have a hole in the top of each brick (where the "LEGO" logo is supposed to be), and you could string them together. The 1x1 cylinder bricks (one of my all time favorites), (...) (26 years ago, 27-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)

Great work with the SW parts! Both the Rebel Blockade Runner and the DS-3 are very cool.
