Which sends me off on another tangent .... did those ornate lamp posts (that
came in some 1990 sets) all come with a yellow-clear 1x1 fat round bricks?  I
have some assembled with the regular clear fat rounds (maybe from the
Homemaker sets?), but I'm not sure they came that way.  My nieces and nephews
may have been responsible for a switch.

I can only think of two types:  The ones that came in the Train sets used
trans-yellow 2x2 cylinder bricks, and the single basic set with these type of
lamp posts had trans-yellow minifig heads.  I don't think there were any other
sets that these configurations came in.

P.S.  Hey Gary!  Did you notice that Anakin's Podracer (set 7131) comes with
gray gable connectors and blue three-slope peaks (piece numbers 3049 and 3048,
respectively)?

Thanks for the info Jeff.  It looks like some of my Lampposts have part of a
Homemaker Coffee Pot as the lamp.  I wonder if these 1x1 (fat) minifig rounds in
regular clear are rare?  Were there any recent sets that had these?

As for the  gable connectors in grey - now we need 2x2 regular sloped inside
corner bricks in grey (Do they make these?   I know they make the inside (convex)
corner grey bricks in the Adventurers sets).  As for the blue 3 sloped peaks (1/2
pyramid), I can never get enough of them.  Luckily I have a large assortment of
blue regular sloped bricks:   gable connectors, 3 sloped bricks and inside &
outside corner bricks.   (Rob Farver has been casting a covetous glance at these).

Gary, Check out the star wars line. The x-wing has 2 and the snowspeeder has 2. One has the convex, one has the concave. They are in gray. It should be REAL easy to pick up a lot of these sets. :-) Mike (...) in (...) (convex) (...) (1/2 (...) of (...) (25 years ago, 30-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) The Fright Knights Minifig pack had one, that is probably the cheapest set in recent times. Have you checked out the Star Wars sets yet? They are an excellent source of pieces. Also check out the soon-to-be released Sith Infiltrator. It has (...) (25 years ago, 30-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)
