Well, the occasional porno post to rtl isn't a big deal either. I don't have
to see them in pine, and I just delete them and they go away. That doesn't
mean that don't bother me.

I'm terribly sorry that I didn't follow rtl when Lugnet was being set up.
However, if Lugnet does not and will not adapt to the "newer" people who use
it, then, like anything else inflexible, it will die. You and Todd and the
original members can decide now that it's not a problem. Later, when more
people advertise, it might still be tolerable. Eventually, the people who's
opinions are ignored might want to set up a listserve to provide "deals"
without the ads. I think something like this would be silly, but it is
logically forseeable.
