GBC module creators tend to independently reinvent the same hopper solutions used in factories. Some of them shake, many of them have an agitator spinning inside it to loosen the pieces, but the simplest just use gravity and a change of direction. (...) Hi all, I'm not very familiar with the LXF file formats, so maybe I'm just missing something, but how do I get at the actual LXF files that define the vertex transforms for each LDD piece? Here is a Soo Line GP9 and a US tanker car I recently built. The GP9 is very similar to my (URL) Burlington Northern GP9> but the cab is much different. (...) You are right, it is not a bugfix, but better coding. I have installed on my machine version 3.1, 3.5 and 3.6 of POV-Ray and all have the same "bad" coding line. Here is the current Ldraw.xml. To install go to \LEGO Company\LEGO Digital Designer\Assets Directory and look for the ldraw.xml file. Back the file up or rename it and replace it with the new file. George, I think the NXT would be an excellent way to get your son involved in robotics. And, it should do just fine in that competition. That's pretty much what it was designed for. Don't worry about a lack of experience with Mindstorms. I'm sure (...) (16 years ago, 30-Jun-08, to lugnet.robotics)
