  Power Function control with RCX and BrickOS
 
Now you can use your RCX to control LEGO Power Functions. That's right the RCX can act as a PF remote control but it can do something that the PF remote can't do yet. The RCX can do PWM with your PF reciever moduals. You do not need to install (...) Do not under any circumstances choose a set with Ewoks. The Ewok celebration is the anticlimax of Star Wars. A commemorative set should remind us of all that is good about Star Wars and Lego. I've found the deck can be pretty insubstantial; even in minifig scale, the truss carries the weight. I’d suggest that instead of yet another minifig-based set (which you can do any time you want), go for something that you otherwise might not do. Here's my idea: A playset re-creation of the Death Star trench battle from Episode IV. I'd love to see two minifig X-wings (Luke and Wedge), with Vader's Tie Fighter, and a semi-built up trench (read--LOTS of er..new..gray), perhaps with a turret or (...)
