I found a new Plano type storage box at Walmart, called Travel Logic (maybe owned by Plano). It has three compartments and the front one is half the size of the box. (...) I think this point is key. 8 widers seem to think of Lego trains as models, where a majority of 6 widers (there are exceptions) see them as toys. Eric, You've made me sit here and count them!! On the Tiger there are 64 links on each side, however, the Challenger has 74. Obviously, different wheel arangements will call for more or less links. I had this really sick idea last night, and I thought I'd throw it out for discussion. In theory, you could control up to six Micro Scouts or Code Pilots using two motor outputs and one sensor input. GOTO was very easy to program. :o) A little more seriously now: I think it belongs to the BASIC-like syntax I have chosen. Especially in IF statements. Anyway, noone is forced to [ab]use it. As has been noted, a lot of CCD cameras are very sensitive to IR. You can take advantage of this by building IR illuminators out of half a dozen or so higher power IR LEDs.
