1. hold on to all of your lego, you will regret it if you don't. You will
hit an age when you don't feel 'embarrassed' about it.

Definitely. Also, try another creative medium. When I was in my teens I gave
up building Lego spaceships, and I began drawing spaceships and making
plastic models of spaceships, then later I was making graphics of spaceships
for computer games, then more recently to 3D modelling of spaceships in 3D
art packages. But when it came down to it, all those methods were either too
tedious and time consuming, or gave less pleasing results than Lego as a
creative medium. So now after all these years I have come full circle, and
I'm all the better for it... but I needed the change - and I wouldn't be
surprised if you do too. You'll come back though. ;-)

Cheers,
Paul

Could we consider trimming ALL the theme groups out of followups and slimming down to just .general? While this is interesting and posting to lots of themes gets lots of attention, setting proper followups is only polite. Thanks. (...) I have two things to say: 1. hold on to all of your lego, you will regret it if you don't. You will hit an age when you don't feel 'embarrassed' about it. 2. best of luck Jonathan (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.castle, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.space, lugnet.basic, lugnet.technic, lugnet.town, lugnet.underground, lugnet.western)
