Sure! Sell me your stuff cheap (it has no REAL value to you anyhow :o) and
then in 5 to 10 years lament the loss of all that lost ABS. Seriously, I am
now 27 and lost my LEGO interest at about age 15 (at least in public) and
only built one measly little space cruiser every 8 to 10 months out of the
same old parts. At around age 20 I stumbled into the LEGO aisle of TRU with
my own hard earned money in my pocket and discovered that the stuff on the
shelf was REALLY nice! I HAD to have the Pirate, Imperial Guard and Castle
sets available. After bringing a few home, and assembling them behind a
closed bedroom door (still a little embarassed) I rediscovered my love and
desire to build BIG. A few years later I found the girl of my dreams and
moved in with plans to marry. Every so often a LEGO model would "find it's
way" on top of the piano and she thought that they were pretty cool. My
friends all started around this time (about 22) to openly display cherished
LEGO sets in their own apartments and homes. Now I have a HUGE collection
that my wife sometimes builds with me (some folk do puzzels, we do LEGO), my
kids (3 1/2 and 1 1/2) both have their own LEGO collections and my family
and friends all accept and love us for who we are, bricks included. I
sincerely hope that you can find a place to store your LEGO safely as I did
and rediscover it all again when you are older. DON'T SELL, just go about
your life as you are happy, if LEGO pops up later in your life when you have
disposable cash then that's cool too.
Have a Merry X-mas, I'll be going to LEGOLAND for X-mas Eve, then to the
beach-house to build with my family! Best to you.
