I tend to think of anything with less than 200 parts as a parts pack to lump in with bigger stuff ... Like sets with around as many pieces as the Mindstorms Vision system - most could be classified as a fairly good parts pack, and a quicktime camera (...) Nice to build, it took about 5 hours altogether. It is quite large at about 2 feet. Unlike the supercar the parts are not pre sorted. I was very pleased with it. Hear, Hear!!! Brad will you please check these out? Is it feasible for TLC to consider licensing/purchasing plans from AFOLs?? It's CRANE TIME ast Elwood & Bubbas' workshop. After a two year - hiatus, E & B are back at the drawing board, hard at work on their biggest crane ever. One if mine broke. I called Lego and they happily replaced it, free shipping. I was surprised that the rep knew exactly what I was talking about--she went ahead and sent me two new ones, instead of just the one that broke. I realize now that it is a (...) Not sure if you've seen them already but there are the dark grey ones as included in 8480 Space Shuttle and others, although they're 16-tooth gears, and not 8-tooth gears. Cheers ... Not a lot more to add to the comments that are here already, all of which I agree with! It makes me want to go out and get a load of motors (I only have a couple) and start building some models with 'lives' of their own :-) Hope the thesis is coming (...)
