Re: Throwbots 2 for $10 at Zany Brainy w/ coupon

(...) etoys currently has them at $2.99, plus shipping ($3 per order, plus 95 cents per item). I didn't check to see whether they have the whole line, because I already have all the ones I want. It's a "clearance" sale, so there's a good chance that (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

Throwbots 2 for $10 at Zany Brainy w/ coupon

As for Throwbots, I'm just starting to collect them. Zany Brainy has them in their 8/3/2000 catalog as 2 for $10 (Millenium and Blaster not included). You must have a coupon for them, but most stores have extra catalogs with the coupon on the back (...) (25 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Roboriders are on Technic online

I dislike the front wheel "launcher," but I have not had any problems with the plastic "whitening" from over-bending. Make sure that the flipper is far enough out of the holder before bending, and this shouldn't be a problem. Also, I get better (...) (25 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

  Re: Dark Side Developer Kit

(...) Correction, I just called (800) 835-4386 and they definitely DO have them in supply for $99. I'll be holding off until I see it sitting in Toys R Us. It was the Power Puller (8457) and Formula I Racer (8458) that are not in stock. - Sean (25 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Dark Side Developer Kit

Hmmm, I just spoke to both (800) 453-4652 and (800) 835-4386, and both said that the kit wouldn't street (at least in the US) until September 15. - Sean (25 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) If you don't need a lot of them, you can see if S@H still has the 5235 pack of four 1x8, and two each 1x10, 1x12, and 1x16. It was $4.50 in the January catalog, so it's probably $4 (plus shipping) now. Ran (25 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Dark Side Developer Kit

  Re: Question on two sets(5571-8448)

(...) Yeah the Super Cars are too big in relation to 5571. I've always wanted to make an auto carrier trailer for 5571 using pneumatics to lower/raise the upper level, but I doubt I'm good enough to do so. So whoever thinks they can build one, go (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)
