Hi handyboarders! I'm currently controlling my camcorder pan (left-right) and tilt (up-down). My camera is a Nikon VN-310.   RC bot base

Hello All, I have just purchased a new TYCO 9.6V Zig Zag car. It seems to have a fairly good base w/treads. I connected it to the handyboard (after gutting it and extending the wires ). Next I gave the motors a test and they both ran way too fast. (...) (27 years ago, 1-Aug-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Voltage problem

Well, further experimentation revealed that the chips are working, but with a quirk: If the the input of the '232 (pin 10) is tied to ground (pin 15), then the output (pin 7 of the '232, or pin 3 of J9) goes to the expected value of ~+10 volts. If, (...) (27 years ago, 1-Aug-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  servos?

hi! Does anyone know of a good (prefferably cheap) source for servos? The hobby shops nearby seem to be pretty steep in their pricing. Does anyone know of a good, cheap source for new or used servos? Hey there, sorry I forgot to mention a few things to you: Digikey stocks the Optrex LCDs, they're about $12/ea, and since you're probably ordering from them anyway, it's no problem.
