I would also look at "the art of electronics" it covers assembly and has
the basics plus more of electronics.

In your message you said:
Hi everyone,
I am fairly new to robotics/electronics and was wondering how to get st • arted
with the HandyBoard.  So what is the best way to get started?  I already know
how to program more or less in C and a little in C++ can you program the
Handy Board in eather of those languages?  If not I would assume you program
it in assembly, is that right?  How do you start learning assembly language?
I haven't seem any book on it?  Can you use a Macintosh to program the handy
board? How much money does it cost to get started?  Do you buy a kit or just
the PCB and then find the different parts for it?  Are there student
discounts?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry if this isn't ok to be posted on this list.
Thanks
