No, it will not work. Due to Apple's restrictions, any device that a developer wants to talk to over Bluetooth must be brand-new and approved by Apple. It won't be easy to write a program with Visual Studio that runs ON the RCX. It should be pretty easy (for a programmer) to write a program that runs on a PC, and uses the IR tower to send commands to the RCX, telling it what to do. Also, you can't (...) Oops.. absolutely correct - do I feel like an idiot? :) As Doug says, the brick can only be programmed in a limited sense using VLL. First, My NXT's firmware version is 1.05.(retail version) There is a field named "Bluetooth Signal Strength" in return package of the "GetDeviceInfo" command. I guess, It tells the strength of bluetooth radio that received NXT brick. But it is (...) (16 years ago, 16-Mar-09, to lugnet.robotics)
