I've posted the kernel documentation in an Acrobat file to (URL) . For a text-only file, this one is rather large, about 275K--it seems all the fonts have been included as bitmaps rather than outlines. I've re-cropped this to standard US letter size (...) Tobias, The tower light will light even if the battery is dead or improperly connected. The battery compartment is not very well designed, and it can sometimes cause problems. Check the battery again. First, make sure it is fresh. I use the tongue (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I have some tri-colored LEDs I bought last year. They were really expensive (I think $15 each), but they are very cool. They have three leads, and they can make any combination of reds greens and blues. I can't remember where I got them, but there (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I tried this a little when I first made my robot using the red bat wings that come with the set, and I couldn't get a good image through one of them. I'd strongly recommend the Code Pilot set. ((URL) 1,263 pieces, including TWO clutch gears, lots of other gears, a motor, two touch sensors, and cables. In theory, yes I believe it could be done, however I would be concerned that a 1x2 filter would be so thick as to distort the image drastically... better to take a sheet of transparency material and print a red, green and blue spot and attach it (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)
