You can count me in. Like I said before, I am not much of a train nut, but
could come up with a few buildings. I think we should get together at someones
house, preferably someone with a basement, and put something together. We
should be able to come up with a few folding tables, and get a final
determination of the size we will need. We could also maybe consider a display
in the window of The Construction Site, as sort of a dry run, sometime in the
fall, say end of October? (Actually, this is for my own selfish reasons, since
seeing the last two displays there, I have been aching to do a Town set up.)

I bet the fire coverage for our layout would be about the best of any LEGO
train/town layout :-).

As far as the tables go I think we could knock out 6 tables on the PNLTC model
in an afternoon easy.

They have plans for their tables on their site that go all the way down to
paint formulas to match LEGO colors.

I have printed out the plans myself and they are quite easy if you have a
couple tools etc.

I know that HomeDepot will actually cut lumber to size for you although I will
need to find out how precise they are willing to be because the PNLTC
measurements are designed around multiples of a 32x32 baseplate so things need
to be fairly accurate.  My main issue is getting the plywood cut to size, the
framing is easy and you could even do it with a handsaw.

If we have any volunteers and the group wants to do this (it would be nice to
have our own tables anyway I think even if we don't do this show) then we can
set a date and time for a little non-LEGO building.  One thing we can do is
have several different sets of leg hieghts then we can use them in the TCS
window if needed to get things up off the ground a bit.
