As far as the tables go I think we could knock out 6 tables on the PNLTC model

...Our first show had about 12 40"x40" tables. It really isn't hard to cover that much
table space with train, track, and assorted models. You guys will love it :-)

They have plans for their tables on their site that go all the way down to
paint formulas to match LEGO colors.

...I also recommend green stain (should be available from any home depot like store). We
use it at WAMALUG, and it is fairly close to LEGO green but because its a stain it catches
the texture of the wood and makes for a much nicer effect than just a flat field of green
(I'll try to get a close up shot of the tables this weekend).

I have printed out the plans myself and they are quite easy if you have a
couple tools etc.

I know that HomeDepot will actually cut lumber to size for you although I will
need to find out how precise they are willing to be because the PNLTC
measurements are designed around multiples of a 32x32 baseplate so things need
to be fairly accurate.  My main issue is getting the plywood cut to size, the
framing is easy and you could even do it with a handsaw.

If we have any volunteers and the group wants to do this (it would be nice to
have our own tables anyway I think even if we don't do this show) then we can
set a date and time for a little non-LEGO building.  One thing we can do is
have several different sets of leg hieghts then we can use them in the TCS
window if needed to get things up off the ground a bit.

...We just had a table building meeting/cookout a few weeks ago that went great. Built
bunches of tables and everyone had a good time (I missed it tho :-(  The volunteers don't
have to be building experts, just willing to try and help out. And doing a whole get
together thing is good for the morale of the person having to do most of the wurk :-)

...you can go back to ignoring me now...
